Clare Burns

Assistant Professor (Bond Business School)

Dr. Burns completed her PhD in organisational culture and corporate sustainability at Griffith University in December 2021. Her research focuses on business ethics, CSR, and ESG integration, with publications in leading journals such as the Journal of Business Ethics. She has conducted case studies on tax transparency, greenwashing, and Indigenous financial services. Prior to academia, she spent 18 years in multinational corporations in roles spanning corporate communications, marketing, and organisational development. Dr. Burns is passionate about teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA levels and supervises doctoral students in areas such as financial culture and Indigenous finance, advancing research aligned with the UN SDGs.
