Accounting for Decision Making

科目概要

本科目はマネジャーが適切な経営判断を行うために必要となる財務情報分析能力の習得を目的としています。適切な財務分析を行うためには、報告を受ける側の視点を考慮して財務諸表を理解し作成する必要があり、とくに社内及び社外両方のレポーティング形式と基本的な概念の理解が重要となります。具体的には、貸借対照表、損益計算書及びキャッシュフロー計算書の作成・読み解き方、総合予算作成のための予算化の役割、コストの概念、コストの種類と原価変動パターン、原価配賦システムなど、マネジャーとして意思決定をする際に必要となる実務的な手法とコンセプトについてケーススタディなどを用いて学習します。

Georgina Moore

Adjunct Lecturer / Bond Business School

Georgina is a senior finance professional with more than 20 years’ industry experience and over a decade of teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs. She has lectured and facilitated subjects in accounting, governance, ethics, and strategic decision-making for universities and professional bodies, including CPA Australia, with a particular focus on master’s-level governance and ethics education.

Her industry career spans from PwC audit and to some of Australia’s most recognisable brands, where she has held senior financial leadership roles contributing to corporate strategy, performance improvement, and organisational resilience in dynamic market environments. She has led major transformations, supported M&A activity, built high-performing teams, and guided organisations through complex regulatory and operational challenges.

Georgina brings a strategic, analytical, and practice-informed perspective to her teaching, integrating real-world financial leadership with contemporary academic frameworks. Known for her clarity, disciplined thinking, and solutions-focused approach, she is a trusted advisor at executive and board levels and is committed to developing leaders capable of navigating complexity with integrity, sound judgement, and ethical governance.
